Welcome to BlueSails
I sailed across the Pacific Ocean single-handed. Three days out in the open sea, off San Francisco, I was hit by a Force 10 storm. Two days, two nights, fighting with the elements until I decided to just let Mother Nature play with me. Once the storm passed, all my sails were torn. It was then that I was reminded that you cannot compromise on your sails.
That is why I want to provide the best quality sails for my fellow yachtsmen and sailors, able to withstand the elements.
BlueSails are made of the finest quality materials to suit the needs of every sailor. We listen to your needs and produce the sail most appropriate for you and your boat. And we deliver to your doorstep. Browse through our site and take a look at what we have and how we work.
I know what sailors need. I sail myself and love the freedom sailing gives me. In 2010-2011, I made a life-changing voyage across the Pacific, from California to Bali. I have written about my story in “10 Ribu Mil Berlayar Menemui Ibunda” and am glad that readers have found my story exciting and inspiring. Why don’t you read some of their reviews, albeit in Indonesian!
Since returning to Indonesia, I have gone on other expeditions, each one different but all amazing and I want to share my experience with you.
I will continue to sail. I plan to make other voyages, setting off from Indonesia – the world’s biggest archipelagic state — or from anywhere else around the world. There is so much out there in the blue yonder. Perhaps you would like to go with me and together we can plan exhilarating voyages?
And if you like our BlueSails, why not join our team. The possibilities are endless.
So, see you at the next port!
Rob Rama Rambini
After sailing single-handed across the Pacific from California-Bali in mid 2010 I've discovered that Indonesia, as the largest maritime country in the world has no sailing activities. Can you believe it!?
That's how Bluesails was incepted. I want to change this by introducing our 'Buy One & Give One' program. What that means is if someone purchase our sail we would donate one to a local sailing club. Therefore, cruisers around the world can participate, support our boating industry and empowering the young generation to love and look after the ocean.
Life's not all about me!
